The platform supports traceability and transparency but does not replace independent certification. Certification decisions remain the responsibility of recognised Certification Bodies.
GGLedger supports certification, it does not perform certification.
Independent Certification Bodies continue to assess compliance with the GGL certification requirements and issue certificates. GGLedger provides the digital infrastructure that supports those certification activities.
